End of the F***ing World Season 2 Trailer: Alyssa Gets Married and James Is Probably Dead

"You can't escape from yourself." That's the tagline for the second season of Netflix's The End of the F***ing World , and if that doesn't strike you as ominous as f*ck, you're a lot more optimistic than the rest of us. The trailer for the season has no dialogue, but there are plenty of looks and clues that nothing is right after James and Alyssa's road trip comes to a bloody end in season one. There's a wedding with a very reluctant bride, a new job at a diner, and a stalker we first met in the teaser images back in September . For some reason, Bonnie seems to be after Alyssa and, we're going to be honest, she doesn't look like she's trying to make friends. With a bullet bearing James's name in the trailer and an urn appearing in the preview poster for the season, it looks like season two will follow the source material's story and give James a fatal ending. We wouldn't be upset following Alyssa's adventures for...

Ariana Grande Crossed Over Into the Twilight Zone With Her Eerie Halloween Costume

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ariana Grande (@arianagrande) on Oct 30, 2019 at 3:16pm PDT What you're about to see is nightmarishly good. Ariana Grande revealed her Halloween costume a day early, and it's a throwback to a classic Twilight Zone moment. The 26-year-old singer has been teasing her look over the past couple of days by sharing clips from the show , and she finally unveiled the eerie (yet spot-on) homage to the "Eye of the Beholder" episode from 1960. The original episode centers on Janet, a woman who has undergone several surgeries in an attempt to look "normal." After her bandaged face is unwrapped, it's revealed that she is beautiful by conventional standards, but in her own society, she is an outcast. The doctors and nurses around her have twisted faces with sunken eyes and morphed mouths, which Ariana modeled with her extensive FX makeup. "Final procedure was a succe...

Let's Be Honest About What a Nightmare Factory The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Is

I have all kinds of warm and fuzzy Halloween memories from my childhood, even though the holiday is, by nature, based on scary things. Mostly I remember fondly all of my costumes as a kid , going trick-or-treating with my sisters, and, in the days after, boosting each other up to get our candy bags off the shelf in my mom's closet where she tried to keep them from us. There is one tradition that we had, however, that was not really all that cool and probably helped seed my adult hatred of horror movies : we watched Disney's "animated classic" The Legend of Sleepy Hollow . It seems innocent enough - the 1949 film is based on Washington Irving's early American folk tale, and good ol' Bing Crosby sings throughout. Until Ichabod Crane is murdered on his way home from a Halloween party by a ghoul who would in no way be considered an appropriate Disney villain today. Modern iterations of the tale - the 1999 Tim Burton live-action movie and the live-action Fox ...
