Lin-Manuel Miranda didn't recognize his 'Encanto' hit in a hilariously relatable 'Tonight Show' moment

As any career-minded person will tell you, if you work long enough and hard enough, you'll inevitably forget about a few things along the way. Lin-Manuel Miranda had exactly that experience during a Friday appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon . Fallon challenged the Hamilton creator to a Disney-themed game of "One Second Songs," a late show game in which — you've probably figured this out already based on the title alone — competitors must guess the title of a particular song after hearing a one-second clip. The Disney theme introduced a similarly obvious twist: The competition focused solely on musical numbers from Disney movies. Miranda had a solid showing right off the bat, correctly spotting a popular number from Moana for which he has a writing credit. He and Fallon both had no troubles breezing through an easy stretch of clues to start things off. But then Miranda faced his third clue. The one-second clip has no words, just some jangly slice of

"Euphoria" Costars Hunter Schafer and Dominic Fike's Latest Outing Sparks More Dating Rumors

" Euphoria " costars Hunter Schafer and Dominic Fike continue to spark dating rumors after they were spotted leaving a dinner date at Craig's in West Hollywood on Friday night. For their night out, Schafer wore a black leather jacket over a black hoodie and shorts while Dominic kept it simple by sporting a brown jacket with a black shirt and pants. Neither Schafer nor Fike, who respectively portray Jules and Elliot on " Euphoria "'s second season, has confirmed or denied their romance, but the young stars first stirred up dating speculation earlier this month when they were seen holding hands while leaving West Hollywood's The Nice Guy restaurant. Ahead, see more photos of the rumored couple's latest outing. https://ift.tt/ot8SLOMzR

'The Afterparty' musical episode just gave us 2022's first TV banger

When I think of Hamilton , I think of Ben Schwartz. The comedy actor has never been in Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical, but during its Broadway heyday — when Miranda was still in the cast — Schwartz appeared on an episode of Comedy Bang Bang! and could not. Stop. Singing. Having not seen Hamilton and consistently failing to procure tickets via purchase or lottery, I'll admit that I did not care for this bit. But I now realize it was all part of a divine plan which came together with Friday's debut of The Afterparty on Apple TV+ . Episode 3 focuses on Yasper (Schwartz) telling his version of the night the way he experienced it: As a triumphant musical. His first song, "Two Shots," is a hip hop party anthem that unleashes all the joy and energy Schwartz teased in Comedy Bang Bang , and it's delightful: Jon Lajoie wrote the song, as well as "Yeah Sure Whatever" and "Three Dots" later in the episode, but "Two Shots" is our int

Joni Mitchell joins Neil Young in having her music pulled off Spotify

Joni Mitchell is riding her "Big Yellow Taxi" far, far away from Spotify. The famed Canadian singer-songwriter who's been turning out hits we all know — like "The Circle Game" — since the '60s has officially joined Neil Young in calling for her music's removal from the streaming service. Like the "Heart of Gold" writer and singer, Mitchell is fed up with Spotify's willingness to support podcasters like Joe Rogan who perpetuate lies and incomplete truths about COVID-19, among other things. Rogan's podcast has been kicking around since 2009, but it notably became a Spotify exclusive in Dec. 2020. That's why the recent pushback against Spotify has so squarely centered the controversial actor-turned-influential blowhard. "I’ve decided to remove all my music from Spotify," Mitchell wrote on Jan. 28 under the headline "I Stand With Neil Young!" in a brief post on her website . "Irresponsible people are spread

Jennifer Lopez Makes Her Long-Awaited Debut on RuPaul's Drag Race

"Night of 1000 J Los" was the theme on Friday's episode of "RuPaul's Drag Race"'s 14th season . So naturally, Jennifer Lopez stopped by the legendary Werk Room to give the queens a little encouragement. "I hear you're doing Night of 1000 J Los! I'm so excited for this, it's going to be an honor to see you all serving up my favorite looks from the past," Lopez said during her virtual appearance on the show, which partnered with Universal Pictures to promote the superstar's upcoming "Marry Me" film. "Before we get this party started, I want to give you a little advice, from one queen to another," she added. "Don't be afraid to get loud, be proud, and shake it! Now go out there and be fierce - but not too fierce, there can only be one Jenny From the Block! Make me proud and have fun." Watch the fun clip above!
