The new DC Universe adult animated series Creature Commandos is debuting on December 5 on Max courtesy of James Gunn (executive producer, writer, and, ahem, DC Studios co-chair and CEO). The superhero show features the voices of Frank Grillo (“Rick Flag Sr.”), Maria Bakalova (“Princess Ilana”), David Harbour ("Eric Frankenstein"), Indira Varma ("the Bride"), Zoë Chao (“Nina Mazursky”), Sean Gunn (“GI Robot” and “Weasel”), Steve Agee (“Economos”), Alan Tudyk (“Dr. Phosphorus”), and Viola Davis ("Amanda Waller"). So we interviewed the Creature Commandos cast recently about what it's like to play monsters who could be heroes... or heroes who aren't really monsters... or just what exactly is going on with these weirdos. Skeleton Crew follows the journey of four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, then get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy, crossing paths with the likes of Jod Na Nawood, the mysterious character played by Law. Finding their way home—and meeting unlikely allies and enemies—will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined.
