Season three of Netflix's You is dropping very soon . On Aug. 30, the streaming platform released a bloody teaser with a message about Joe ( Penn Badgley ) and Love's (Victoria Pedretti) future son, whom Joe has decided to name Henry. Though the one-and-a-half-minute clip doesn't reveal much else about the third season, it already has our heads spinning. What is Joe up to this time around? Will baby Henry take after his father? Nia DaCosta is making history once again! Following the Aug. 27 premiere of Candyman , the 31-year-old has become the first Black woman director to debut a movie in the No. 1 weekend spot at the domestic box office, grossing $22.3 million in its opening weekend. The film is a sequel to the 1992 horror classic of the same name and is written by Jordan Peele and Win Rosenfeld. It follows Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as an artist named Anthony McCoy who moves in to the original movie's now-gentrified neighborhood with his girlfriend, Brianna Cartwright, played by Teyonah Parris. Of course, DaCosta is no stranger to breaking records, as she's also the first Black woman to direct a Marvel film with the upcoming The Marvels . Season 3 premiers Oct. 15 and the teaser dropped a big reveal: Joe and Love (Victoria Pedretti) are expecting a baby. We last left off with Joe in his version of marital bliss, a.k.a. living a life unpunished for his numerous crimes with a wife perhaps even more unhinged than himself. The season ended with Joe possibly falling for his neighbor based solely on the fact that she reads books, and this teaser drops some pointed comments about literature. Are we quite sure this is Love's baby and Joe isn't having an affair, inviting total disaster? But according to the teaser, fatherhood will change him. He'll be better, he says.
