We Finally Have a First Look at Margot Robbie in Greta Gerwig's "Barbie"

We finally have our first look at Greta Gerwig 's "Barbie" movie, which stars Margot Robbie as the iconic character. In the first photo from the movie, released April 27 on Twitter, Barbie sits in her iconic pink convertible, smiling at the camera. Her hair falls in flippy, retro-style waves, and she's wearing a halter top with a matching bracelet and polka-dot headband. Alongside the photo, Warner Bros. tweeted that the movie will be released in July 2023. There's very little info available about the plot of the film, which has been in development for years. Amy Schumer was once attached to the movie, but she exited in 2017 . The current iteration, which is filming in London right now, also features Ryan Gosling as Barbie's forever-boyfriend, Ken. The film has a star-studded cast that includes Issa Rae , America Ferrera , Hari Nef , Simu Liu , Will Ferrell , and more. In a 2021 interview with British Vogue , Robbie said of the movie, "It comes with

Olivia Wilde Praises Florence Pugh and Harry Styles in "Don't Worry Darling"

Olivia Wilde gave us our biggest look at "Don't Worry Darling" yet at CinemaCon on April 26. The director debuted the movie's first trailer, and while it hasn't made its way online yet, viewers have said it's quite the steamy affair. Wilde also praised her movie's two stars - Florence Pugh and Harry Styles . Wilde joked about Styles (who's, of course, her boyfriend ), calling him "an up-and-coming actor with no other career that I'm aware of." She also said the singer is "truly a revelation" in the movie. "You are witnessing the birth of a full-fledged movie star." Wilde called Pugh "brilliant, sexy, fierce, and tough." She explained, "We knew this movie would live or die off her role." Wilde added, "You are witnessing the birth of a full-fledged movie star." Styles opened up about filming sex scenes for the movie earlier this month. He explained, "All I can say from my own

Without that Wii magic, 'Nintendo Switch Sports' is shallow party game

If you're walking into Nintendo Switch Sports armed with fond memories of blissful hours spent playing Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort , you might want to check your face for rose-tinted glasses. It's not bad . The Switch 's Joy-Con controllers are in many ways newer and fancier version of the iconic Wii Remote, sporting the same kind of motion-sensing hardware that made the Wii such a transformational experience. Swinging your virtual tennis racket here feels much the same as it did over 15 years ago. But the old magic, the "wow" factor that made the Wii's capabilities so fundamentally cool , is gone now. That puts a lot of pressure to shine on the six sports-themed minigames included in this package on day one ( a golf minigame is coming, but not until the fall). Volleyball, Badminton, Bowling, Soccer, Chambara (sword fighting), and Tennis are all charming and (for the most part) intuitively enjoyable to play. But together they make for a very slight

Please enjoy this footage of Rebel Wilson teaching Jimmy Kimmel to play handbells

Sometimes you just want to watch something simple and pure, whether it's Nicolas Cage singing "Yellow Submarine" in a helium voice or, in this case, Rebel Wilson teaching Jimmy Kimmel to play the Happy Birthday song using handbells. Admittedly Kimmel's help in the clip above is minimal, but Wilson clearly doesn't need him — you can tell from the passion with which she plays those bells that she's a pro. Want more? It's never too late to watch Nicolas Cage singing 'Yellow Submarine' in a helium voice

Back in first grade, Nicolas Cage won a talent contest with his special performance of The Beatles' song "Yellow Submarine". And when you hear it, you'll see why. In the clip above from The Kelly Clarkson Show , the actor demonstrates how he sung the song using his "helium voice", which is exactly what it sounds like minus the need for an actual helium balloon. Truly impressive, and much less threatening than his rendition of "Three Blind Mice" . Want more? Nicolas Cage appeared on a chat show for the first time in 14 years. It was a wild ride.
