Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson are reuniting once again! On Nov. 16, HBO Max announced that in honor of the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, all the originals from the franchise are making a comeback for a reunion special titled Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, where they'll discuss all the films and share some of their behind-the-scenes stories.
"I think this is the perfect time to sit down with everyone and reminisce," Grint says in the official trailer, which released on Dec. 20. In the video, Watson also adds: "It feels like no time has passed, and loads of time has passed." The new trailer flashes between old scenes from the franchise films, as well as intimate confessionals where the cast looks back on their Harry Potter memories. Leading up to the special event, HBO Max also shared a first look photo of Radcliffe, Watson, and Grint assembled together with a tweet captioned, "Like they never left."
But have no fear, Hogwarts fans - Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger aren't the only ones joining the reunion! Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas), Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort), and more will also appear in the upcoming special. We can already tell revisiting all these sweet memories with the cast is going to make us cry during the reunion. Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts airs on HBO Max on New Year's Day.
