Bow Down - The Crown Season 3 Will Reportedly Arrive on Netflix in November

It's been nearly two years since we were dropped into the complex, controversial, and always captivating inner life of Queen Elizabeth II and the rest of the royal family in season two of The Crown. Fortunately, Netflix's historical drama, which has been filming season three over the past year, is set to return this Fall. And, according to star Tobias Menzies, the wait won't be as long as we initially anticipated.

Menzies, who has replaced Matt Smith as Prince Philip now that the series is jumping forward in time, was being interviewed on Jo Good's BBC radio show when he revealed that the third installment of the Emmy-winning drama will drop in just a few months. "We shot season three, and that starts in November," he said.

Netflix has yet to officially confirm the news, of course, so there's always a chance The Crown won't come back until early December, like season two. Either way, we can't wait to see what the new cast will do with their roles - not only has Menzies replaced Philip, but Oscar winner Olivia Colman is in for Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth, and Helena Bonham Carter is replacing Vanessa Kirby as Princess Margaret. Sadly, we'll have to wait until season four for a glimpse of Princess Diana!
