Finally, the Mother Monster is back and she's already doing things that the other girls just can't do. Almost a year after Lady Gaga teased fans about being "pregnant" with a new album, the artist is releasing the first single off her highly anticipated follow-up album to 2016's Joanne. Gaga first announced the upcoming release of "Stupid Love" on Feb. 25 with a Twitter post showcasing cover art that gives us MySpace profile banner vibes in the best possible way. She then dropped a first look and teaser of the music video that definitely has to be inspired by the Power Rangers. The teaser shows Gaga in front of similarly dressed space folks staring into the distance in horror and sadness. Everyone simultaneously signs the words, "All I ever wanted was love . . ." before Gaga repeats the phrase and starts crying. The drama of it all!
All of this is pointing to a musical space opera with a possible glam fight scene, and reader, I am here for it. We'll have to wait until midnight on Friday to get the full scope of Gaga's latest masterpiece, but we're already dazzled. It feels like it's been ages since we've seen the A Star Is Born actress go to this level of Gaga, and she's pulling out all the stops!
