Netflix's 'Graveyard Rats' trailer should be avoided at all costs if you don't like rodents

A frightened man in a dark tunnel comes face-to-face with a giant, snarling rat.

Not a big fan of rats? Well then you'd better beat a hasty retreat, because the Netflix trailer above for Graveyard Rats – one part of Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities horror anthology – is absolutely crawling with them.

The story, shot by Splice director Vincenzo Natali, follows a graveyard caretaker who comes up against a swarm of rats that apparently like to steal bodies from coffins.

The trailer features some incredibly icky shots, including a swarm of the hairy critters charging along an underground tunnel, a writhing mass of them falling through a ceiling onto someone's head, and a giant rat that appears to be significantly bigger than a dog snarling into a man's face.

Nope, nope, nope.

Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities is streaming now on Netflix.
