Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (previously known as Hobbs & Shaw; UK title: Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw) is an upcoming American action film directed by David Leitch and written by Chris Morgan.

 It is set to be a spin-off from The Fast and the Furious series featuring two characters, Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw in the lead roles. 

The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby, and Helen Mirren. The film is scheduled to be released on August 2, 2019 by Universal Pictures.

Two years after the events of The Fate of the Furious, federal agent Luke Hobbs and former-British military turned mercenary Deckard Shaw must join forces in order to stop a new threat emerging from the cyber-genetically enhanced international terrorist known as Brixton.

Lawman Luke Hobbs and outcast Deckard Shaw form an unlikely alliance when a cyber-genetically enhanced villain threatens the future of humanity.
