Taylor Swift made a grand return to the MTV VMAs on Monday. The singer, who released her seventh album, Lover, on Aug. 23, kept things cool in a colorful Versace ensemble and black boots as she stepped out on the red carpet and snapped photos with fans before her showstopping performance of "Lover" and "You Need to Calm Down." Taylor took home two awards, including video of the year for "You Need to Calm Down," and she celebrated with pals Halsey and Gigi and Bella Hadid.
The last time Taylor attended the show was all the way back in 2015, when she joined Nicki Minaj for the opening performance, presented then-friend Kanye West with the Vanguard Award, and took home video of the year for "Bad Blood." Needless to say, a lot has changed since then. See even more pictures from Taylor's big night ahead.
