Justin Bieber Says the Most Nerve-Racking Part of His Proposal to Hailey Was Trying to Commit

Justin Bieber returned to The Ellen DeGeneres Show for the first time in three years on Tuesday and revealed some interesting tidbits about his life and career during his appearance. In addition to announcing the release date for his upcoming album, Changes, the 25-year-old singer also gushed about his wife, Hailey Bieber. While discussing his proposal to the 23-year-old model, he admitted that he wasn't really nervous about what her answer would be but more so if he was truly ready to commit and settle down. "That's a serious commitment when you say you're going to love someone for better or for worse and be faithful," he told the host. "That was really what I was battling with."

After getting engaged in the Bahamas, the two tied the knot in an NYC courthouse in September 2018. A year later, they got married again in front of family and friends in South Carolina. "She's an amazing, amazing, amazing person," he said about Hailey. "She's superprecious. I enjoy spending my life with her." During his appearance, Justin also opened up about the inspiration behind his song "Yummy" (spoiler: it's about his sex life) before serenading Ellen with an acoustic rendition of the track and playing a fun game of "Holey Puck." Watch more videos from his appearance on the show ahead.
