'Gravity Falls' is the perfect show for the start of summer

Summer is just around the corner, and there's no better way to celebrate than by watching Gravity Falls. Airing from 2012 to 2016, Gravity Falls is a show that captures the feeling of childhood summer vacation in all its glory: going on adventures, spending time with family members, and fighting off interdimensional chaos demons. Okay, okay, so maybe that last one isn't a universal experience, but for the main characters of Gravity Falls, twins Dipper and Mable Pines (voiced by Jason Ritter and Kristen Schaal), it's an all-too-common occurrence.  These 12-year-olds have been sent to the small town of Gravity Falls, Oregon to stay with their Great-Uncle (or "Grunkle") Stan (voiced by Gravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch) for the summer. Stan is a lovable con man who operates the Mystery Shack, a tourist trap featuring ridiculous curios like the "Rock That Looks Like A Face Rock" or the "Grizzlycorn." 'A Quiet Place Part II' features stunning cameo: The infamous whiteboard

The board is back, baby! John Krasinski's long-awaited A Quiet Place sequel finally hit theaters on May 28 . In addition to Krasinski's character Lee pulling a Jack Pearson and returning in the form of flashbacks, fans were blessed with another unexpected callback to the first film: Lee's infamous whiteboard. That's right, the absurd, downright comical dry-erase whiteboard from A Quiet Place — which featured words like "CREATURE" and "SURVIVE," asked questions like "How many in Area??" and "What is the WEAKNESS," and noted observations such as "Blind" and "Attack sound" — makes a brief cameo in the second film. Thank the lord. Read more... More about John Krasinski , A Quiet Place 2 , Entertainment , and Movies Tv Shows https://ift.tt/3yUutFA

'Friends: The Reunion': The One With The Irish Uncle Matt LeBlanc Meme

Iconic sitcom Friends had an undeniable impact on pop culture throughout its 10-year run, with memes such as "Smelly Cat" and "How you doin'?" circulating even before the internet was there to help them along. The show has now been off air for longer than it was on, and isn't quite as relevant to people in their 30s now. Yet Friends ' reunion special still had one final meme to impart. On Thursday, Friends: The Reunion reunited the sitcom's principal cast, with actors Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer gathering to reminisce about on-set accidents and inter-cast attractions on the show. It was all rather heartwarming, and interesting to see how everyone has changed since their days hanging out at Central Perk.  Read more... A 'Super Mario Bros.' speedrunning history captures the fight for human perfection

In a game where the top 14 speed records are all within one second of each other, every input and every frame counts when you're vying for the fastest time to beat Super Mario Bros . People have become so precise that they're mere milliseconds away from reaching the known peak of human ability. With " Super Mario Bros : The Human Limit," YouTuber Summoning Salt lays out just how close Super Mario Bros. speedrunners have come to hitting the human limit, a theoretical time of 4 minutes, 54 seconds, and 260 milliseconds. The best runners have to execute button presses that last a single frame (in a game that runs at 60 frames per second), land jumps on spaces that are smaller than a pixel, and manage to stay composed through eight levels of the 1985 NES game to make it close to the top of the leaderboard. Courteney Cox Does Dance "Routine" From Friends With Unexpected Ross Impersonator Ed Sheeran

Five, six, seven, eight! After the Friends reunion on HBO Max , Courteney Cox is once again stepping into Monica Geller's shoes to re-create an iconic TV moment. On May 30, the actress shared a video of herself and singer Ed Sheeran doing the famed "routine" choreography that Monica and Ross perform with the hopes of getting spotted by their parents during a New Year's Eve TV special. "Just some routine dancing with a friend," Cox captioned the Instagram clip, showing herself and Sheeran nailing every single move - except for that dramatic ending. Of course, we have to give it up for Cox remembering each step, but we also can't ignore Sheeran's dedication to the choreo. Call him up if there's ever a Friends reboot; he's already putting in the work as Ross! Since the original cast are adamant that another reunion will never happen , fans will have to cherish short-and-sweet returns to the show like the clip Cox shared. Compare the dance...
