Lady Gaga talks about staying in character for 9 months in prep for 'House of Gucci'

Lady Gaga never does things by halves.

Her performance in Ridley Scott's House of Gucci as Patrizia Reggiani is no exception to that precedent.

Speaking to Stephen Colbert, Gaga explained that she opted for the method acting approaching and stayed fully in character for nine months – Italian accent included.

"There's something about us that's just fully committing ourselves to the art on a cellular level, we're deeply entrenched in this immersive experience," Gaga explained.

Then, speaking in a heavy Italian accent, Gaga said she found it easier to stay in character as Reggiani. Even when she called her mum and dad.

That's some dedication right there.
