The most iconic vampire of all time is reemerging on the small screen courtesy of the BBC, and now we have the first look at the network's brand-new upcoming miniseries, Dracula. Although the teaser is less than a minute long, it's somehow still more than enough to give me nightmares (yippee) as it tracks Dracula's journey from Transylvania to London.
The show is based on Bram Stoker's classic novel, and hails from the creators of Sherlock. Actor Claes Bang - who's appeared in everything from The Square to The Affair - stars as the titular blood-sucker, while the rest of the cast will be rounded out by Mark Gatiss (who also serves as co-creator), Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Morfydd Clark, John Heffernan, Dolly Wells, and Jonathan Aris.
Further details about the series are still being kept under wraps, but the 3-episode series will be broadcast on BBC One, as well as Netflix for those of us living outside the UK. Watch the chilling teaser for Dracula above, and then get yourself ready for blood-sucking thrills and chills with our round-up of the best vampire movie moments.
