Jay Ellis and Nina Senicar Make Such a Stunning Couple, We Can't Look Away

Jay Ellis's love life may be complicated in his role as Lawrence on Insecure , but offscreen, it's a different story. The 38-year-old actor has been romancing Serbian actress Nina Senicar since 2015, though it wasn't until 2017 that he confirmed their relationship during an interview with The Breakfast Club . Given how private Jay is when it comes to his personal life, he didn't divulge too many details about their romance, but he did say he's in "a very happy relationship." "I don't really worry about anything else, and that's it," Jay said. "I think for me, we give so much of ourselves in what we do no matter what side of the industry we're on, so for me . . . a relationship for me is probably the most important thing that I think two people can have." In June 2019, Nina revealed to Serbian magazine Story that she and Jay were expecting their first child together . In that same interview, Nina also announced that she

J Lo and ARod Impart Words of Wisdom on the Class of 2020: "Become the Leaders of Tomorrow"

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are sending the class of 2020 off with some words of wisdom. On Tuesday, the couple teamed up with Mayor Bill de Blasio and Schools Chancellor Richard A. Carranza to honor New York City graduates in a special virtual graduation ceremony. "We know you've worked very hard to get here and that your family, friends, and teachers must be so proud of the young people you've become," Jennifer began. Alex went on to explain the importance of working together as a team, and shared the story of the time he won a World Series championship with the New York Yankees. Unsolved Mysteries: Where Is Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès? Here Are 2 Main Theories

A chilling reboot , Netflix's true-crime anthology series Unsolved Mysteries cracks open the tragic case of the Dupont de Ligonnès family in its third episode. Once home to an outwardly wholesome group of people, the Dupont de Ligonnès residence, located in Nantes, France, now has the nickname "the house of horror." There's no sugarcoating the case: On April 21, 2011 , investigators discovered the remains of five humans and two dogs buried beneath the terrace. The bodies belonged to the family matriarch Agnès and her four children: Arthur, Thomas, Anne, and Benoît. The two dogs were the family Labradors. The bodies were wrapped in bags, covered in quicklime, and hidden with religious icons. The autopsy found that the children were given sleeping pills - the mother was not, but she did use a sleep apnea machine. Each person was seemingly put to sleep, then shot at least twice in the head with bullets from a .22 rifle. The Dupont de Ligonnès Family History The

Netflix's Dark Finally Revealed the Origin of the Time Loops, and My Head Is Still Spinning

Netflix's Dark has officially come to an end, but not before absolutely turning everything we've ever learned about the show on its head in season three. Throughout the first two seasons, we watch as loops of events create a chain of cause and effect that spans throughout multiple decades. In season three, we learn that a second reality - the one in which Martha (with bangs!) comes from at the end of season two - exists parallel to this world, similarly experiencing endless cycles of the same events. If this first world is Adam's world - Adam being the creepy man Jonas supposedly becomes as he ages - this second reality is controlled by Eva, the woman that alternate Martha grows to become. Throughout season three's eight episodes, I quietly begged that the creators wouldn't pull a Lost and ask more questions than they answered, and while a few finer details remain a mystery, they delivered in answering the one question every single viewer has asked: what in the

This Dance Set to Beyoncé's "Freedom" Delivers a Message of Hope Amidst Racial Injustice

Like the lyrics of a song or words on a page, dance can deliver powerful messages meant to inspire and instill hope. In a powerful video shared to YouTube, choreographers Aliya Janell and JoJo Gomez collaborated on an intense dance routine set to Beyoncé's "Freedom" that speaks volumes about the the fight for racial equality and the ongoing protests in support of the Black Lives Matter movement . During the routine, six women took to the dance floor to illustrate the devastating effects of police brutality on the Black community and the need for change. Despite the heartbreaking subject matter, the video delivers a message of strength, courage, and persistence meant to empower those advocating for equality. ICYMI: Hamilton's Jasmine Cephas Jones Is the Real-Life Daughter of William From This Is Us

Jasmine Cephas Jones might be most widely known for her role in the original Hamilton as both Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds, but the talented Broadway actress has entertainment in her blood. She's the daughter of Ron Cephas Jones, aka William from This Is Us , and jazz singer Kim Lesley. Before Ron was putting on Emmy-winning performances in the NBC show , he starred in off-Broadway and Broadway plays such as 2014's Of Mice and Men . Similarly, Jasmine starred in the Schuyler sister role when the show was off-Broadway in 2015, and she continued through 2016 with the Broadway production. She also met her now-fiancé and Hamilton costar, Anthony Ramos, when the show kicked off in 2015. The adorable couple got engaged on Christmas Eve in 2018. As we countdown the days until the 11-time Tony Award-winning stage musical makes its way to Disney+ on July 3 , we can't help but gush over the Cephas Jones family. Check out some sweet moments between Jasmine and her lovely

Cast Members From Iconic John Hughes Movies Reenact Their Most Famous Quotes

During the Ferris Bueller's Day Off reunion episode of Josh Gad's Reunited Apart series on June 28, stars from iconic John Hughes films remembered the late writer and director the way he would've wanted: with a laugh. Hughes, who died in 2009 from a heart attack, is best known as the godfather of the teenage rom-com, along with his legendary comedic writing style. In the clip, the original stars of some of his films quoted their most famous lines, including but not limited to Molly Ringwald from Sixteen Candles , Steve Martin from Planes, Trains and Automobiles , Jane Krakowski from National Lampoon's Vacation , Michael Keaton from Mr. Mom , and Catherine O'Hara screaming her way through Home Alone . There were even a couple of appearances from people who have since left the acting world. Hughes said it best, "If you create great universal characters that are funny and engaging and touch people, you make something that will play everywhere." No

Lin-Manuel Miranda Has His Freestyling Skills to Thank For His Romance With Vanessa Nadal

When it comes to celebrity couples, Lin-Manuel Miranda and his wife Vanessa Nadal certainly have one of the sweetest love stories. Before making it big on Broadway with Hamilton , Lin-Manual met the lawyer when he was still in high school . Even though he had a crush on her, he never worked up the nerve to talk to her. "She was gorgeous and I'm famously bad at talking to women I find attractive," he told The New York Times in 2010. "I have a total lack of game." Though the two parted ways as they went to separate colleges - Lin-Manual went to Wesleyan University, while Vanessa went to MIT - they eventually found their way back to each other. In the summer of 2005, Lin-Manual found Vanessa on Facebook and invited her to his Freestyle Love Supreme show. After getting her phone number from a friend, Lin-Manuel invited her to another show, where he eventually won her over with his freestyling skills. "When he came onstage, I thought, I really like this g

Dark: Remember Silja, Elisabeth's Interpreter in 2053? Turns Out Her Role in Season 3 Is Massive

Dark , Netflix's German sci-fi thriller, just got its third and final season as of June 27, and we can say with certainty that of all the twists and turns, season three has some of the most massive reveals yet. One character in particular is connected to more than one of those reveals: Silja, the woman who knocks out young Jonas in the final seconds of season one and who acts as an interpreter to Elisabeth in 2053. When we last saw Silja (Lea van Acken) in season two, she'd helped Jonas reach the nuclear plant that adult Elisabeth Doppler had threatened was off limits, which ultimately allows him to use the dark matter to travel to 1921. She is caught at the plant afterward by Elisabeth and challenges her leader as to why the plant was off limits, now that she knows what exists there, what's possible. And that's about as far as Silja's story goes - that is, until we hit season three and she becomes a major player; a vital piece of Sic Mundus's puzzle. Keep

Lin-Manuel Miranda Wasn't in Hamilton as Long as You Think

Lin-Manuel Miranda has become a household name thanks to his hit musical Hamilton . In addition to writing the music, lyrics, and book for the Broadway show, he also originated the role of Alexander Hamilton. However, he didn't star in the musical for as long as you might think. Hamilton first premiered off-Broadway at The Public Theater in January 2015. The show eventually began previews on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (aka the home of Miranda's 2008 Broadway musical In the Heights ) on July 13, 2015, before its official opening on Aug. 6, 2015. It didn't take long for the musical to become a smash hit. Along with a Tony win for best musical, Hamilton also won a Grammy for best musical theater album. Additionally, Miranda took home the Pulitzer Prize for drama for the musical as well as the Drama League Distinguished Performance Award. After less than a year in the role, Miranda announced his departure in June 2016 and gave his last performance on July 9,

In Case You Were Wondering, The Order Cast's Friendships Are Even More Magical Off Screen

They say college is where many find their closest friends, and for the cast of Netflix's The Order , it seems that holds true. Between goofing off on set at Belgrave University and celebrating together when the cameras aren't rolling, this group knows how to have a good time. Beyond that, they're all absolutely adorable - I'm particularly jealous of the friendship between Sarah Grey (Alyssa Drake) and Louriza Tronco (Gabrielle Dupree). It doesn't matter if on screen they're part of the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose or a Knight of Saint Christopher, at the end of the day, they're all part of The Order family. Here's hoping for a season three so we can get even more behind-the-scenes pictures! Related: Witches, Warlocks, and Werewolves: 15 Supernatural Shows to Watch After The Order https://ift.tt/38joH39

Netflix's Ozark Is Coming to an End With a Supersize Season 4

On June 30, Netflix announced that the thrilling family drama Ozark has been renewed for a fourth and final season . While this is the last season we get to spend with Martin "Marty" Byrde ( Jason Bateman ) and his problems, we're at least in for a wild ride as the 14-episode season - the previous three seasons only had ten - is being split into two parts. Joining Bateman are series regulars Laura Linney (Wendy Byrde), Julia Garner (Ruth Langmore), Sofia Hublitz (Charlotte Byrde), Skylar Gaertner (Jonah Byrde), Charlie Tahan (Wyatt Langmore), and Lisa Emery (Darlene Snell). In season one, Marty relocates his family to the Ozarks after getting caught up in a money laundering scheme that goes horribly wrong. There was an escalation of drama in season two as Marty deals with larger amounts of money, danger, and a tense relationship with the Snells . Season three is the culmination of the danger from the previous two seasons as Marty once again finds himself on a slip

You Know You Love It: Penn Badgley and Chace Crawford Reunite and Reflect on Gossip Girl

Dan and Nate are back together again! For Variety 's Actors on Actors series , Penn Badgley and Chace Crawford delighted Gossip Girl fans everywhere with a virtual reunion. In addition to discussing their latest roles on You and The Boys , respectively, they also reminisced about their time on the hit CW drama and the show's lasting impact on fans today. "People wanted to watch a show like Gossip Girl because it was aspirational." "People wanted to watch a show like Gossip Girl because it was aspirational. It was like an escape. It seemed like it struck a certain cultural chord because it was this aspirational fantastical vision of excess and wealth," Badgley said. "But now, cut to 13 years later, people are not interested in that. And I think rightfully so. Now they're interested in deconstructing why we're so fascinated with that in the first place. We're interested in deconstructing those systems of privilege. I'm not sayin

Katherine Langford Is a Sword-Wielding Badass In the Trailer For Netflix's Cursed

Netflix has finally released the trailer for its upcoming YA fantasy series Cursed , and whew, I'm already sweating. When the first teaser dropped on 18 June, we were already pretty certain that Cursed was set to be an intense, mythical adventure with Katherine Langford's badass character, Nimue , at its centre. The full-length trailer that was released on Tuesday confirms this (and so much more) with two minutes of purely high-octane scenes. The trailer hints at the evolution that Nimue will go on through the series, from her mother's tragic death to her quest in returning the mysterious (and, we now know, cursed) sword to the powerful sorcerer, Merlin, plus her fight against the Red Paladins who are threatening the lives of all magic folk. In this trailer, we have also finally gotten a glimpse of a budding romance between Langford's character and Arthur, played by Australian-American actor Devon Terrell - and it looks pretty steamy.
