Summer Walker and Usher's Passionate BET Performance Fills My '90s Baby Heart With Joy

Summer Walker and Usher took us on a cotton candy-colored trip back in time with their passionate performance at the 2020 BET Awards on Sunday. The duo performed a stripped-down version of their song "Come Thru" in front of cloudy pastel backgrounds that evoke the '90s in the most nostalgic way possible.

Walker opened the performance with her song "Session 32," which she sang barefoot on a stool in front of a lounge-themed set - complete with a lit candle on the coffee table - while playing the electric guitar, and it really doesn't get more '90s than that. Usher soon joined Walker to harmonize on "Come Thru" for a performance that was soulful, romantic, and soothing in the best possible way. Watch their full performance here and check out who else took the virtual "stage" at this year's BET Awards.
