'The Office' stars ring in 2021 with a *very* on-brand jello stunt

Nothing says "Happy New Year" quite like a good, old-fashioned...jello explosion? Well, OK! During NBC's 2021 New Year's Eve celebration on Thursday, The Office stars Kate Flannery and Oscar Nunez made a surprise appearance to mark the sitcom's official move from Netflix to Peacock . In a pre-taped stunt, the ludicrously likable sitcom alums reflected on the (to put it mildly) bumpy past few months and enthused over the promise of a fresh trip around the sun.  Then, they topped off those cozy sentiments by putting some World's Best Boss-style mugs — that read "2020: Best Year Ever" — inside of a yellow jello mold and blowing them up in the Dunder Mifflin parking lot. Obviously.  Read more... More about The Office , Entertainment , Streaming Services , and Movies Tv Shows https://ift.tt/2X2Wucd

So, Taylor Swift Ended the Year in a Fuzzy Bear Costume: "Bye 2020, It’s Been Weird"

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Taylor Swift (@taylorswift) 2020 may have been the year that Taylor Swift came back sronger than a '90s trend , but I don't exactly remember rocking a life-sized bear costume with my jelly bracelets and butterfly clips . To ring in the new year and say farewell to 2020 once and for all, Taylor shared a photo of herself wearing a faux bear coat on Instagram. Yes, including the mouth, eyes, and nose. "Bye 2020, it's been weird," she captioned the post, which, while somewhat unsettling, also sort of makes a lot of sense. Through the good and the bad, the "Well, this might as well happen" meme seemed to be applicable all year round, and this photo fits right in as weird, wonderful, and very 2020. As much as we appreciate (and deeply understand) the sentiment, Taylor, we can't help but ask a few questions about this particular photo: Long story short, we love t...

Michelle Obama Gave Barack a Drawing For Christmas, but the Story Behind It Is the Real Gift

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Barack Obama (@barackobama) Michelle Obama gave Barack an unforgettable Christmas gift this year. On Wednesday, the former president shared a peek at the priceless present from his wife on Instagram. Michelle commissioned an artist named Valentino Dixon to draw a massive piece for Barack of the 12th hole at Augusta National in Georgia. For Barack, "it's an incredible piece, but the story behind it is even better." Valentino was wrongfully convicted of a crime at age 21, and sentenced to serve 38 and a half years to life in prison. During this time, he reconnected with his love for art and began drawing for six to ten hours every day. Despite never having set foot on a golf course, a warden asked Valentino to draw the 12th hole of the legendary Augusta National Golf Club. He used magazines as inspiration and created golf pieces during his two decades behind bars.Related:The Vanishing Half, The Queen's Gambit, Soul: Obama...

Taylor Swift's "No Body, No Crime" x "I Did Something Bad" Mashup Belongs in an Action Film

Just when we thought Taylor Swift's Reputation days were long gone, a fan made a song mashup of "I Did Something Bad" and Evermore's "No Body, No Crime" that sounds like something straight out of a superhero movie. The four-minute mashup perfectly merges the old Taylor with the new Taylor, resulting in what sounds like the backtrack to a badass protagonist stomping away from an explosion in slow motion. So, when's the movie premiere? Like a mini murder mystery, the mix takes on a narrative of its own, adding a wonderfully villainous feel to the original tracks and weaving an intricate storyline that has us hooked through to the very end. Give the mashup a listen for yourself above, and check out our Evermore album theories here.https://ift.tt/38KHsxi http://dlvr.it/RphBS0

The Bittersweet Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Finale Has Us Saying, "What the Heaven?"

It's time to say goodbye to both 2020 and the fourth and final installment of Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina , which premiered Dec. 31. The Fright Club hangs up their instruments and Sabrina wears her last headband defeating the biggest bad of the Eldritch Terrors, the "End of All Things" aka The Void. Although the series ends on a bittersweet note, it's nice to know that everyone still has someone to lean on for comfort, like Hilda and Zelda, Prudence and Ambrose, Harvey and Roz, and Theo and Robin. In the final season we see Sabrina and crew band together to defeat the Edlritch Terrors, unleashed by Faustus Blackwood during part three , once and for all. Everyone, Lucifer and Zelda included, finds out about the two Sabrinas (Morningstar and Spellman) and do what they can to keep them apart - secret best friends be damned. When that separation plan fails, Sabrina Morningstar gets sent to the alternate realm and faces The Endless before learning that ...

Us the Duo Closes Out 2020 With an Incredible Mashup of This Year's Biggest Songs

It's time to say goodbye to 2020, and Us the Duo is ending the year on a high note. On New Year's Eve, musical couple Michael and Carissa Alvarado shared their annual top hits mashup performance on YouTube, and it's just as wonderful as we expected it to be. Sitting at a piano with their 2-year-old daughter Xyla , the duo crooned along to some of the biggest songs from this year, including "Cardigan" by Taylor Swift , "Dynamite" by BTS, and "Savage" by Megan Thee Stallion & Beyoncé. Their daughter even got in on the action as she played a few keys on the piano! Watch the full performance above as you recount some of your favorite tracks from this year. https://ift.tt/3hwc4GE

Nothing Will Ever Top the Lizzie McGuire Movie Soundtrack, You Can't Change My Mind

If I had a dollar for every time I've dramatically announced that "Lizzie McGuire literally RAISED me" to anyone within earshot, let's just say I would easily be able to afford a trip to Italy to rival that of Hilary Duff's whirlwind romp around Rome as millennial America's sweetheart Lizzie; maybe minus the falling for a secretly heinous Italian pop star and posing as his insanely famous other half, Isabella. The Lizzie McGuire Movie was not just a moment, it was a movement. This 2003 cinematic masterpiece brought us so many cultural gems that still stand today ( that inflatable igloo dress, anyone??? ), but the most meaningful, in my less-than-humble opinion, is the unbeatable soundtrack that we are still blessed to enjoy. You cannot tell me that hearing Atomic Kitten singing "The tide is high but I'm holdin' on" doesn't make you want to throw on a newsboy cap and pick up the nearest hairbrush to belt into. When I hear Taylor Dane...

We're Not at All Jealous of the Bridgerton Cast's Adorable Offscreen Bond

Netflix's Bridgerton is full of all the drama you could ever want. On screen, the cast - which includes Regé-Jean Page, Phoebe Dynevor, Nicola Coughlan, Claudia Jessie, Jonathan Bailey, Ruby Barker, Luke Newton, Bessie Carter, and Ben Miller - is embroiled in everything from ill-fated romances and broken friendships to drawn-out family battles and financial struggles, but in real life, they seem to genuinely enjoy their time together. Regardless of whether they are Bridgertons, Featheringtons, or something in-between, it doesn't seem to matter off screen, because they are like one big family. We wonder what Lady Whistledown would write about their offscreen shenanigans. While we wait for news of a possible season two, check out some of the group's best photos together ahead. Music Mood Board: Songs to Kick Off the New Year With Hope, Gratitude, and Confidence

It feels like I've been wearily dragging myself to 2020's finish line all December long, and I'm sure you can relate. So that's how I'm choosing to arrive in 2021: full of expectancy and anticipation . That isn't to say I'm turning a blind eye to the very real issues our world is still facing and will continue to endure. I'm just dedicating more of my energy to protecting the peace that I continuously fought to regain and maintain throughout the year. So, with that in mind, I now present the songs that I'll be blasting into the new year. Related: 25 Songs That Kept Us Stable Enough to Endure the Twists and Turns of 2020 https://ift.tt/38OSp0x

There Has to Be a Bridgerton Season 2 After That Jaw-Dropping Cliffhanger Ending

One thing in television is guaranteed: if you see "Shondaland" pop up on screen, you know it's about to be really damn good. A mix between the iconic Gossip Girl and Pride and Prejudice , the new show - based on the book series by author Julia Quinn - follows the eight Bridgerton siblings on their journey to find love in London's high society. Not to mention, the fact that Netflix and Rhimes have nine books to work with for source material. Although Netflix ha...

Pixar's Soul Almost Had a Different Ending That Would've Majorly Changed Joe's Fate

Pixar's Soul is an emotional investment from start to finish, but it turns out the ending almost went in a different direction. Fans of the animated film know Joe Gardner (voiced by Jamie Foxx) fights his hardest to avoid the Great Beyond after his death and return to his body on Earth. His efforts finally succeed, when he least expects them to, thanks to his ability to help a directionless new soul (22, voiced by Tina Fey) find her spark. In a recent interview, however, the filmmakers who crafted the story revealed Joe's fate wasn't always clear-cut.Related:Discussing Disney's Soul With Angela Bassett and Phylicia Rashad Is as Inspiring as You'd Imagine"Man, that ending sparked more debate than I think any other element of the film." How to enable 2FA on Xbox

Xbox has the ability to require two-factor authentication or 2FA when you sign in with your Microsoft account. While a complex and unique password might seem like it will suffice, having another layer of security on your Xbox is a smart idea. You don’t want people to get ahold of your account with potentially thousands of dollars of games on there. Fortunately, the process to set it up is easy. Step 1: Understand how Xbox 2FA works The best way to think about Xbox 2FA is to imagine two padlocks on a door, except one requires a unique code that is sent to your phone or email account. If someone tries to get into that door — or in this case, your Xbox account — they need to have access to that unique code. Basically, your password is only the first step. Whenever you log in, however, you’ll need that code. Thankfully, you can set your Xbox to be a trusted device so that you only need to put it in once.
