Netflix serves up an enchanting teaser for DC Comics adaptation 'Sweet Tooth'

Get ready because Netflix is diving horns first into the world of DC Comics.

On Thursday, the streaming giant dropped its first teaser for Sweet Tooth — an eight-part adventure series that aims to combine the best of the fairytale and sci-fi genres.

Based on the beloved comic written and drawn by Jeff Lemire (40 issues of which were produced between 2009 and 2013), Sweet Tooth takes place in post-apocalyptic world that's full of strange and beautiful — but still dangerous — natural wonders.
