For the first time in 28 years, the Elton John AIDS Foundation hosted a virtual Oscars preparty on Sunday, and Dua Lipa was there to kick off the night by singing an electric "Bennie and the Jets" duet with none other than Sir Elton John himself. "Dearest Elton, thank you for having me perform alongside you last night," the Future Nostalgia singer captioned photos the performance on Instagram. "A real honour and a dream to have done this with you for such an incredible cause. Still smiling from ear to ear and I will never ever forget this moment . . . I love you!!!!"
Oh, and did we mention Lipa just happened to be dripping in head-to-toe silver crystals courtesy of Balenciaga during the entire performance? Between Lipa's powerhouse vocals and John's legendary piano skills, the duet felt like a Future Nostalgia bonus track. The pair even followed up their wonderful performance with "Love Again."
