Remember being traumatised by Charlotte Perkins Gilman's short story The Yellow Wallpaper back when you were in school?
Well, it's time to take a trip down memory lane.
On Tuesday, the trailer for K. Pontuti's very creepy-looking adaptation dropped, starring Alexandra Loreth as Jane, a new mother who becomes obsessed with an old nursery in the mansion where she and her husband are due to spend the summer.
First published in 1892, The Yellow Wallpaper is arguably one of the most enduring short horror stories ever written — it's already been adapted for audio, stage and screen, and it acted as the basis for a 1989 episode of The Twilight Show, "Something in the Walls."
