After dropping countless cryptic hints, which spurred several fan theories, Charlie Puth's eagerly awaited collaboration with BTS's Jungkook, "Left And Right," is finally here! Released on June 24, the mellow pop track melds the "Light Switch" singer's signature falsetto with the K-pop superstar's dulcet vocals to perfection. Written and produced by Puth, the mid-tempo track marks the second collaboration between the two artists, who set the stage ablaze with their powerhouse performance of "We Don't Talk Anymore" at the MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards back in 2018. The breezy summer tune is slated to appear on the "That's Hilarious" singer's forthcoming self-titled third studio album, "Charlie."

Charlie Puth & Jungkook's "Left And Right" Lyrics
Though BTS's vocalist features on "Left And Right," the track is sung entirely in English, the lyrics for which read as follows:
CHORUS (Charlie Puth)
Memories follow me left and right
I can feel you over here, I can feel you over here
You take up every corner of my mind
(What ya gon' do now?)
VERSE 1 (Puth)
Ever since the-the day you-you went away
(No, I don't know how)
How to erase your body from out my brain
(What ya gon' do now?)
Maybe I should just focus on me instead
(But all I think about)
Are the nights we were tangled up in your bed
PRE-CHORUS (Puth)
Oh, no (Oh, no)
Oh, no (Oh, no)
You're goin' 'round in circles
Got you stuck up in my head, yeah
CHORUS (Puth)
Memories follow me left and right
I can feel you over here, I can feel you ovеr here
You take up еvery corner of my mind
Your love stays with me day and night
I can feel you over here, I can feel you over here
You take up every corner of my mind
What ya gon' do now?
VERSE 2 (Jungkook)
Ever since the-the day that you went away
(Someone tell me how)
How much more do I gotta drink for the pain?
(What ya gon' do now?)
You do things to me that I just can't forget
(Now all I think about)
Are the nights we were tangled up in your bed
PRE-CHORUS (Jungkook, Puth)
Oh, no (Oh, no)
Oh, no (Oh, no)
You're goin' 'round in circles
Got you stuck up in my head, yeah
CHORUS (Jungkook)
Memories follow me left and right
I can feel you over here, I can feel you over here
You take up every corner of my mind (Of my mind)
Your love stays with me day and night
I can feel you over here, I can feel you over here
You take up every corner of my mind
What ya gon' do now?
BRIDGE (Puth)
Did you know you're the one that got away?
And even now, baby, I'm still not okay
Did you know that my dreams, they're all the same?
Every time I close my eyes
CHORUS (Puth, Jungkook)
Memories follow me left and right
I can feel you over here, I can feel you over here
You take up every corner of my mind (What ya gon' do now?)
Your love stays with me day and night
I can feel you over here, I can feel you over here
You take up every corner of my mind (What ya gon' do now?)
OUTRO (Puth, Jungkook)
I can feel you over here, I can feel you over here
You take up every corner of my mind (What ya gon' do now?)
What Do Charlie Puth & Jungkook's "Left And Right" Lyrics Mean?
The track sees Puth and Jungkook reminisce about their previous relationships as they find themselves still wrapped up in the warm memories of what had been. Despite recognizing that the relationship is done and over with, the fond memories involuntarily seep inside their minds, replaying on loop, much to their chagrin. "Memories follow me left and right / I can feel you over here, I can feel you over here / You take up every corner of my mind," the pair croon about their dilemma in the pumped-up chorus. The hook employs the audio panning technique as it bounces the stack of harmonies in "I can feel you over here" from the left speaker to the right side - a nice touch to highlight the literal meaning of the words in the chorus.
Over the percussive guitar strings, Puth and Jungkook recount different stages of a post-breakup narrative in two verses. While Puth can't shake the intimate moments spent together with his ex, Jungkook sings about deflecting the memories by drinking the pain away. "Did you know you're the one that got away? / And even now, baby, I'm still not okay," Puth goes off on the bridge, addressing "the one that got away."
Charlie Puth & Jungkook's "Left And Right" Music Video Meaning
In the accompanying music video, Puth's character appoints a "Love Doctor" à la a therapist who hears all his venting about his previous partner. While the expensive session appeared to be healing his broken heart, we still see the two singers reeling from the breakup in their own cheeky ways. In one scene, Jungkook, perched on the hood of the car driven by Puth, is thrown off the vehicle as Puth zigzags the steering wheel.
In the penultimate moments, Puth is visibly shocked to see Jungkook appear out of nowhere during one of his one-on-one sessions with the heartache specialist. This moment, on top of Jungkook appearing on the hood of Puth's car, led fans to believe Jungkook is, in fact, the person taking up every corner of Puth's mind. And, honestly, who can blame him?
