Yes, we know season five of "Selling Sunset" just premiered, but we're already thinking about next season. The real-estate reality show has sold us so much drama these past few years that Netflix didn't hesitate to renew the series for seasons six and seven ahead of its season five premiere.
In January, Us Weekly reported that a source said the "Selling Sunset" cast are "very excited" about the show's future, but don't expect the series to dish out another back-to-back season so soon.
Another source told the outlet that the cast plan to take "a bit of a break" before returning back to work. And since filming won't start right away, it looks like season six will likely have a 2023 premiere date. But there will still be plenty of drama to dig into until then since "Selling Sunset" season five has the show's first-ever reunion episode.
Netflix hasn't released any details regarding season six's release date, plot, or returning cast, but season five's finale will likely fill in some of those blanks. A certain couple (i.e. Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim) and their breakup will surely get more screen time since their split happened after season five was filmed. And who knows, maybe season six will welcome another new face to The Oppenheim Group. We'll just have to wait and see!
