Stranger Things 4 finally has a release date — in fact, it has two.
Netflix revealed Thursday that the sci-fi juggernaut will debut its fourth season in two volumes: One on May 27 and one on July 1. Creators Matt and Ross Duffer shared the news in a letter to fans, noting also the season's "unprecedented length" and unique challenges.

We don't know much about Stranger Things 4 — Hopper is back and that's all that matters — but Netflix shared a cryptic summary:
It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time — and navigating the complexities of high school hasn't made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.
Stranger Things returns May 27.
