Following the initial announcement of Jordan Peele's "Nope" in 2020, we finally have a first look at the film. Written and directed by Peele, the film will star Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, Steven Yeun, Barbie Ferreira, and Brandon Perea. Peele previously worked with Kaluuya for his directorial debut, "Get Out," making this a full-circle moment for the duo.
As of now, the studio has not revealed any plot details, but based on the first poster, which features a kite tail hanging out of a cloud over a nearby town, fans are already theorizing that the movie could be about an alien invasion. Maybe "Nope" is actually an acronym for a secret government agency? Of course, the cloud could also be a reference to angels. On Feb. 8, Peele dropped a teaser trailer which gives us some clues about what we can expect; the full trailer arrived on Super Bowl Sunday. The film is set to be released on July 22, 2022, so keep your eyes "peeled" for more details.
