After having a wildly successful and now iconic film, Aladdin later made way for three sequels and an animated series. However, one of the sequels, Aladdin 4, was unfortunately canceled before production and has since been deeply missed by Aladdin fans.

Not much is known about the fourth installment to Aladdin, which would have taken place after Aladdin and the King of Thieves but many fans of the series wished for a genie of their own so they could bring the film into fruition once again.
10 Meant To Take Place Years After King Of Thieves
It was said that the untitled fourth installment to Aladdin was meant to take place years after the ending of King of Thieves, the third (and now final) film in the series. At the end of King of Thieves, Aladdin, and his father, Cassim have finally reunited. Cassim attends his son's wedding and stands in the background, smiling at the new couple as they descend for the first time as man and wife. Jasmine and Aladdin are finally married (which feels long overdue considering they've had three movies already) and fly off to see the world as Cassim rides with Iago further into the desert.
9 Probably About Jasmine & Aladdin's Children
Because the way King of Thieves ended, and the idea that the 4th film was meant to take place years later, it can be believed that the movie would have dominantly been about Aladdin and Jasmine's children, much like The Little Mermaid II: Return To The Sea. Perhaps Aladdin and Jasmine's children would have been the main protagonists of this story as they now were the heirs to Agrabah.
8 Canceled With Little Information
In all honesty, there was very little information about Aladdin 4 before its cancellation, other than the fact that it was supposed to take place years later. It seems like not much thought went into the actual development of this film, as though it were scrapped before any concrete ideas were in play.

The original cast was meant to return, with Scott Weinger as Aladdin, Linda Larkin as Jasmine, and Robin Williams as Genie. This, unfortunately, is part of the reason why the film was canceled.
7 Robin Williams Passed Before It Could Be Made
Robin Williams, the iconic voice of Genie in Aladdin and Aladdin and the King of Thieves, unfortunately, passed away in 2014. And though King of Thieves was released only four years after the original in 1996 (with Return of Jafar landing in the middle, released in 1994), the fourth Aladdin movie was supposedly canceled due to the fact that Robin Willaims had passed away before the film could be made. It seems like Disney may have been planning on releasing the film almost twenty years later.
6 Robin Williams Denied His Voice To Be Used For 25 Years
Whether Disney was actually planning Aladdin 4 before the untimely death of Robin Willaims or not, Willaims made it clear in his will that he didn't want his voice clips from the original Aladdin to be used in any media for the next 25 years after his death. This made a lot of fans happy, with the need to honor his legacy, while it made others upset with Disney for not casting Dan Castellaneta, who voiced Genie in Return of Jafar and in the animated series.
5 All Straight-To-Video Canceled
As mentioned, the timeline for Aladdin 4 seems rather confusing. In 2006, John Lasseter was named the principal creative advisor and oversaw the production of all animated features. He directly reported to Disney CEO, Bob Iger. Shortly after his new position, Lasseter decided to cancel all straight-to-video films that had been in the works. This includes a Hercules and Jungle Book sequel as well as Aladdin 4.
4 Permanently Canceled
It is said that Aladdin 4 is permanently canceled with no hopes of returning to this project. With the latest release of the live-action Aladdin, this seems to be even more true. However, King of Thieves seemed to give a great ending to the fans of the series.

The couple finally married one another, something they had been hoping to do since the Sultan changed the marriage law at the end of the first film that would allow them to marry. Aladdin also got to learn about his father and it can be assumed that his father will be in his life from time to time now. Maybe the story is better left untouched.
3 Three Films & A TV Series
The Aladdin series already got three films and an entire television series. The series is meant to take place between Return of Jafar and King of Thieves, with the latter being the conclusion to the series. The stories all tied together with the first film tying directly in the sequel, which perfectly formed the series, which eventually ended within the final film. There wasn't much left for the company to do with a fourth film.
2 Probably Would Have Been Successful
Both Return of Jafar and King of Thieves went straight to video and both were incredibly successful for their distribution. Of course, the animation quality of both films were severally lacking compared to the original, which made the movies seem more like the animated series than a feature film. Both films also got pretty mixed to negative reviews, but regardless of that, both sold a large number of copies and are loved by fans. Return of Jafar is listed as one of the best selling films on home video. Because of the success of the first two, a fourth would have likely also been successful as a home video.
1 "Hercules And The Arabian Night"
While the series ended with King of Thieves, there were two more short installments into the Aladdin story that took place after the third film. One of them, Disney Princess Enchanted Tales: Follow Your Dreams, focused on Jasmine as she grew bored being princess in the palace and wanted more. The other was actually a cross-over episode from the Hercules animated series called "Hercules and the Arabian Night" in which Jafar and Hades teamed up to try to take their rivals down since they both had failed a number of times in the past. Because Hades and Jafar teamed up, Hercules and Aladdin did as well.
