Connie Britton wows in a black and white striped jumpsuit at the Hollywood premiere of The Mustang

Her Netflix series Dirty John will be returning for a second season — without her. And Connie Britton hit the red carpet at the ArcLight in Hollywood on Tuesday to represent one of her other projects, the international drama The Mustang. The 52-year-old actress stole the show with her eye-catching black and white striped suit.

The 5ft8in American Horror Story star's silky suit featured large black stripes running down the front of her pant legs and up her top, highlighting her cleavage. The sleeveless top gave her toned arms plenty of attention.

Her pointy white heels perfectly matched with the intriguing outfit, though the floor length pants nearly hid them from view Connie toted around a stylish black handbag with a thick metallic handle and large tassels hanging from it.

In The Mustang, Connie's co-star Matthias Schoenaerts, 41, plays a convict in a prison out west who participates in a program to train wild horses to prepare them for auction. The dynamic redhead plays a prison psychologist tasked with evaluating his mental state in the American–French–Belgian co-production. The film also features 21-year-old Blockers star Gideon Adlon as the convict's daughter. The film currently holds a 100 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the result of unanimous praise.

The Friday Night Lights actress recently got some bad news when Showtime's SMILF, on which she played a major recurring role, was cancelled. According to a troubling story in The Hollywood Reporter, the show's star and creator Frankie Shaw, 32, allegedly mishandled sex scenes involving one of the series' other actresses. Members of the premium dramedy's writing staff also alleged that Shaw didn't properly credit them for their contributions. Connie's other recent series, Netflix's hit domestic thriller Dirty John, is set to get a second season, though the Nashville actress won't be on it, as the true crime series has already wrapped up her storyline. The new season will feature a new story and cast.
