Nina Dobrev turns heads in a chic black jumpsuit as she attends magazine bash

She always manages to look effortlessly chic. And Nina Dobrev didn't disappoint as she attended the Marie Claire Change Makers Celebration at Hills Penthouse in Hollywood on Tuesday. Proving that less is more, the 30-year-old Vampire Diaries star was a vision of beauty in a chic black jumpsuit as she posed on the red carpet.

The garment flared out into a pair of wide-legged trousers that skimmed over her lean legs and concealed a pair of black court heels. Nina styled her glossy chestnut locks in a side parting that framed her pretty features, whilst she painted her plump pout with a slick of coral lipstick.

Nina can currently be seen in Run This Town, which premiered last week at at South by Southwest festival and details the turbulent final year of Rob Ford’s tenure as Mayor of Toronto. Ford became internationally infamous in 2013 after the Toronto Star and American website Gawker obtained a video which appeared to show the then-Toronto mayor smoking from a crack pipe. Speaking about her role in the film, Nina told Entertainment Tonight Canada: 'As a Toronto native, I was excited to shoot a film about our city that I love and I'm so proud of coming from, and I think it's an important story.

'Both Rob's story as well as millennials, and that fact that they're having such an issue finding work after college. 'Politics are a little crazy and they don't necessarily reflect the world that we live in - it's changed so much.' She added: 'My character deals with inappropriate behavior in the workplace and the events that happened were back a few years ago, before Time's Up, but now more than ever its important to tell those stories.'
