Olivia Wilde is treated to cupcakes as she celebrates 35th birthday while promoting new film Booksmart at SXSW

Sometimes, working on your birthday isn't so bad. And on Sunday, Olivia Wilde celebrated her 35th at SXSW, surrounded by the cast of her new film, Booksmart.

While in Austin, Texas, the actress stopped by the Vision Council 3-Day Eye Health event and #TwitterHouse, where she was joined by fiance Jason Sudeikis.

The mother-of-two accessorized with hipster, black rim frames, a wide brim hat and rings. The beauty topped off her look with black pumps, complete with pearl heels.

In addition to the health event she attended, the Life Itself star stopped by the #TwitterHouse to discuss her new film, Booksmart, of which marks her directorial debut. While there, the star was treated to a selection of tasty cupcakes and gold balloons. The New York City native surely felt the love, as she was surrounded by her film's castmates, and later joined by her husband, Jason Sudeikis.

Booksmart is a teen film that follows two academically smart students who decide to let loose the day before their high school graduation. When asked by IMBD why she wanted to do this film as her directorial debut, the star said that she 'wanted to go back to the films that made me want to be in this business.' Olivia credited classics such as Clueless, The Breakfast Club, Dazed and Confused and Fast Times. 'These are movies that shaped me, and they helped me get through life, and they inspired me...' she noted.
