We’ve got a new photo here to share with you from the set of director Elizabeth Banks’ upcoming reboot of Charlie’s Angels.
The photo features Kristen Stewart (Twilight), Naomi Scott (Aladdin), and newcomer Ella Balinska as the three lead characters. They will be joined in the film by Patrick Stewart and Djimon Hounsou who have been cast in the role of different Bosleys. Other cast members include Sam Claflin (Me Before You), Noah Centineo (The Fosters), Nat Faxon (The Way, Way Back), and Jonathan Tucker (Kingdom, Snowfall).
All we really know about the film so far comes from this previously released synopsis:
Since the original films, The Townsend Agency has grown considerably and gone global, providing security and intelligence services to a wide variety of private clients with offices and highly-trained teams worldwide. This film focuses on one of those teams.
I haven’t seen a lot of excitement regarding this movie, and I assume that’s because it’s just another reboot from a franchise that has been run into the ground. I’m not expecting much from it, but at least maybe it will have some fun and entertaining moments.
Charlie’s Angels will be released on September 27, 2019.
