Helena Bonham Carter showcases her quirky fashion sense as she leads a host of stars supporting Ralph Fiennes at his The White Crow UK premiere
A host of A-list celebrities stepped out to support Ralph Fiennes at the UK premiere for his new film The White Crow, which he directs and stars in. And leading the stars was Helena Bonham Carter, who embraced her signature boho chic look for the red carpet appearance at the Curzon Mayfair, London, on Tuesday night. The 52-year-old, who will take on the role of Princess Margaret in the third series of The Crown, went for a typically eccentric display in a black gown comprised of striking black fur and a lace neckline.
The quirky gown featured extravagant flared leather sleeves and an elegant long skirt, paired with black leather boots.
Adding some contrasting colour to her otherwise all black ensemble, the thespian completed her look with a white, pearl encrusted, handbag. She accessorised her attire with a long black beaded necklace and matching earrings, while sporting a selection of silver rings.
The Kings Speech actress wore her tresses in a tousled up-do affixed with a black bow, while her pretty features were enhanced with feline flicks of liner and soft pink lipstick. Elsewhere, Ralph looked winter ready in a sophisticated grey coat, teamed with a black formal shirt and dotted tie. The biopic exploring the life of world-renowned Russian ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev is latest directorial effort by Ralph, who also play's the leading man's mentor Pushkin. Written by David Hare, the film follows Rudolf - played by Oleg Ivenko - through his childhood, training, and his life-changing visit to Paris, which saw him decide to cut ties from the Soviet Union and seek asylum in France.
Also attending the film's UK premiere was Liam Neeson, who cut a smart figure as he attended his first star-studded event in weeks after missing the premiere for his movie, Cold Pursuit. It follows his shocking comments about seeking vengeance on a black person after the rape of a friend. Liam posed for photographers on the red carpet in a three-piece light blue suit with a navy shirt underneath, he finished his look with brown leather brogues. The White Crow opens in cinemas on March 22.
