Jodie Foster and Elisabeth Moss pose together between their Featured Sessions at the SXSW Film Festival
With the South By Southwest Film Festival in full swing, actresses Jodie Foster and Elisabeth Moss took time out from both of their Featured Sessions to pose together.
The 56-year-old Foster and 36-year-old Moss were photographed together before both of their Featured Sessions at SXSW on Sunday afternoon. Foster's Featured Session was a MasterClass, along with MasterClass CEO David Rogier, while Moss was interviewed by musician Brandi Carlisle for her Featured Session.
Foster was wearing a slightly-sheer grey and black striped long-sleeved top, with black pants and black shoes with white soles, plus thin gold chains around her neck.
Moss was spotted on Friday at SXSW attending the opening night film, the world premiere of writer-director Jordan Peele's new film Us.
It was announced in December 2018 that Foster would get her own MasterClass, teaching filmmaking. While she has two Oscars for acting, she has directed four feature films, including The Beaver and 2016's Money Monster, and the Black Mirror episode Arkangel. Foster's MasterClass debuted in early 2019, joining the likes of other Hollywood MasterClass teachers such as Martin Scorsese, Ron Howard and Spike Lee.
Moss' Featured Session at SXSW featured the actress being interviewed by musician Brandi Carlile about her new film Her Smell, where she plays a punk rocker. Her Smell, which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, screened at SXSW on Saturday. Moss also starred in the music video for Carlile's song Party of One.
Foster, who was last seen on the big screen in Hotel Artemis last year, made headlines in February for listing her Beverly Hills mansion for $15.9 million. Moss stars in the upcoming thriller Us, in theaters March 22, and The Kitchen, arriving August 9. She also plays The Haunting of Hill House author Shirley Jackson in the upcoming biopic Shirley.
