Nicky Hilton Rothschild cuts an elegant figure in striped minidress as she attends lavish Vogue cocktail party during Paris Fashion Week
She's been designing clothes since her teens and has always been lauded for her sense of fashion. And Nicky Hilton Rothschild looked stylish as ever as she attended the Americans In Paris cocktail party as part of the Paris Fashion Week on Sunday in the French capital. The businesswoman, 35, cut an elegant figure for the evening, donning a long-sleeved black and white striped mini-dress with structured shoulders.
She added height to her frame with a pair of strappy heels with a diamond embellishment and accessorised with a black clutch bag. Her blonde locks styled into a sleek updo, Nicky posed alongside German fashion model Charlott Cordes who was also in attendance at the event.
Nicky became known in the early noughties for being a staple of the New York club scene, along with her older sister Paris Hilton. The pair were dubbed 'it girls' and modelled together for years before Paris starred on The Simple Life with Nicole Richie and Nicky focused on her fashion career.
Speaking about her younger days, the socialite admitted the clubbing scene was a lot more enjoyable in the days before the smartphone. She told Vanity Fair:
'It was a lot more fun. Camera phones didn't exist and people lived in the moment and they enjoyed the moment. 'Now everyone's documenting the moment and filtering and filming and taking pictures. It's completely different.' Nicky married financier James Rothschild at The Orangery in Kensington Palace Gardens in London in July, 2015.
James popped the question while the couple were on vacation in Lake Como, Italy in August, 2014. The couple, who began dating in 2011, are parents to Lily Grace, two, and Teddy Marilyn, fifteen months. Paris, 38, and actor Chris Zylka, 33, were engaged for ten months before they ended their relationship.
The former Simple Life star has since stated she wants to focus on her career for the time being. She told The Talk in November: 'I just realised after time it wasn’t the right decision... but I wish him the best and one day I would love to get married and have children, but for right now I’m just focused on myself and my work.'
