She's the face of Miu Miu's latest fragrance Twist. And on Tuesday, Elle Fanning was the star attraction at the perfume's launch in Shanghai, China. The actress, 20, has appeared in campaigns for the brand since 2014 and made her runway debut at Miu Miu's Fall/Winter 2018 show in Paris a year ago.
The Maleficent star wore a black dress with sheer short-sleeve overlay. There were buttons from the collar down to the waist and the frock fell to mid-calf.
Fanning added black heels with embellished straps and left her blonde hair loose. She completed her look with dramatic eye makeup and red lip color.
Fanning was joined at the pink carpet event by a 'Miu-tant', a character that appeared in her video commercial for the fragrance that was released in the US in January. In the ad, the alien character presents the actress with a bottle of Twist, and then goes down on one knee to propose. Miu Miu describes Twist as a sweet, crisp scent with notes of apple blossom and bergamot. In an interview with CR Fashion Book, Fanning explained: 'The fragrance has these unexpected notes that are sweet, but not too sweet.
